i think it has to do with the command He gave us to love one another.
without love, what is our work amounting to?
whether that's loving God,
loving our spouse,
loving our family,
or loving our neighbor (as in anyone not related to you)
we should be loving everyone, in everything we do.
don't you think the world would be a better place if we actually did?
